My car is five years old, has 91,000 miles and a transmission that does not work. The problems began more than a year ago. Nissan refuses to address the issue because it is "out of warranty." If it were just my car, I would assume that I just got a bum transmission. But, this is a pattern with Nissan. The CVT transmissions in their cars are failing. I still owe $5,000 on my car. It would cost $3,400 to replace the transmission. I've decided not to fix it for now. So, I'm making payments on a 2,000 paperweight, while trying to find another car that works.

I totaled out my 2017 Nissan Sentra with about 2,000 miles not to long ago. I was run off the road by some loose gravel and hit the median head on. Not a broken bone! Mind you the last glance I looked I was going about 55 mph. I am so beyond blessed for this vehicle. I am buying another one!!!
